Paws Protect and th
e Freedom Project are specialist cat and dog fostering services for people fleeing domestic abuse, enabling survivors to get to safety without worrying about what would happen to their pet if left behind.
To offer this vital scheme across East Anglia, we’re now looking for volunteers to open their homes and hearts to pets in need. Through becoming a foster carer our volunteers know that they are not only supporting a pet, but a whole family too. The service is completely free for volunteers to access, and we cover all vet and food costs, so it’s a great opportunity for someone who would benefit from the company of a pet without the long-term commitment or financial impact.
Please do contact us if you have any questions, if you would like any more information on our projects or to arrange a specific talk to a group.
